Meet the Buyer

Why Exhibitors Love Meet the Buyer (MTB)

Meet the Buyer is one of the most powerful benefits of exhibiting at RIN.

It gives rail suppliers the rare opportunity to sit down face-to-face with leading rail buyers who are actively sourcing products, services, and new supplier partnerships.

Story contracting joins the RIN Glasgow procurement panel

“RIN Events are an important part of our engagement with the supply chain, and we’re excited to return as exhibitors for RIN Glasgow 2026.

At Story Contracting, we value collaboration, innovation, and fresh thinking – and RIN consistently brings together exactly the kind of suppliers and SMEs who can help drive our projects forward.

I’m delighted to join the MTB Procurement Panel this year to meet suppliers face‑to‑face and explore new opportunities for partnership.

Whether you’re already working in rail or looking to bring transferable capability into the industry, we’re keen to speak with you.”

David Timmons, Procurement Manager, Story Contracting

Exclusive to RIN Exhibitors

Only RIN exhibitors can take part in MTB – making your stand booking even more valuable.

Hand Matched Meetings That Matter

Our Marketing and Events Manager, Antoinette, personally manages the entire process.

She works closely with the buyers ahead of the event to understand exactly what they’re looking for – from specialist products to solutions to specific challenges.

This insight allows her to invite the right suppliers to apply and to guide exhibitors so they can tailor their pitch for maximum impact.

Apply to Meet the Buyers You Want

Exhibitors submit a simple online application (link will appear here when applications open) and select the buyers they want to meet.

Buyers Choose Their Preferred Suppliers

The buyers then review the applications and hand pick the suppliers they want appointments with, ensuring every meeting is focused, relevant and commercially meaningful.

Your Appointments, Organised for You

Antoinette builds the full schedule—typically three meetings per hour across a four-hour session, saving you time and ensuring your day runs seamlessly.

Hosted Introductions on the Day

On the event day, Antoinette and Clare greet suppliers, manage the diary, and personally introduce exhibitors to buyers, ensuring every meeting gets off to a strong start.

*MTB is an exclusive opportunity available only to RIN Exhibitors
