11 March 2022 update:
OUR NEXT EVENT WILL BE THURSDAY 8 SEPTEMBER 2022

RIN DERBY, DERBY ARENA – OPEN 9:30AM-2:00PM

We are a railway event run by railway people – we do not make a living from running rail events – hence why we have a low exhibitor price because we only look to cover our costs.

Our event is organised by Jobson James Rail – the UK market leader in insurance and contractual advice for railway companies – supported by the Railway Industry Association (RIA).

We bring the rail infrastructure industry together in one room for networking events with no distractions of speeches or presentations at a very competitive cost to suit railway companies of all budgets so they can meet each other and potential new customers to grow their businesses.

Looking back at the last event

Our last event was RIN London at Business Design Centre, Islington – just a mile from King’s Cross on Thursday 10th March 2022. We had:

  • 400+ through the door
  • 75 exhibitors
  • 35 Meet the Buyer Appointments
  • 350 Free breakfast hot rolls scoffed
  • 2,000 Teas and coffees swigged

Our sincere thanks to all of our exhibitors and major buyer supporters, including, but not limited to: Ainscough, Alstom, Amco-Giffen, Hitachi Rail, Laing O’Rourke, Morgan Sindall, Balfour Beatty JV for OOC station works, TFL, Network Rail and Bam Ritchie, ASH Civils, Barhale Constrn, BR Rail, Civil Rail Solutions, Coombes, DFT, DTS, Danny Sullivan, DWG, EnGauged, Force One, Fraser Nash, Global Rail, Guided Rail, Lanes, McCullock, Mott MacDonald, Murphys, Pro Rail, PBH, PRB, RSP, RFM, RIA, RSS, RSSB, RTG, Selectequip, SWGR. We even had the innovative Polybridge from OCL Rail.

Special mention to Katherine and Amalia at RIA and the whole RIA team who pulled together our Meet the Buyer procurement interviews. Great job done!

Looking forward to the next event

Our JJ Rail RIN Team (Keven, Clare, Tim, Rich, John and Antoinette) looks forward now to RIN Derby in September. We’ll see you all there!

Derby has always been a successful event in which we saw 400 rail professionals through the door, 80 exhibitors and 200 railway companies represented in 2020. All visitors to our events enjoy free bacon, sausage, vegan sausage rolls, and egg rolls, as well as free tea and coffee for the duration of the event.

In time, we hope to confirm whether we will be running a Meet the Buyer aspect to the event.

Like London, by popular demand, the event will open for longer from 930am to 2pm (rather than a 1230pm finish) to allow for more networking time.

Registering

At our events, Exhibitors can book their stand for the price indicated for each event. Each exhibitor gets a 2m table and 2 chairs so plenty of room for pop up banners and products.

Remember that exhibitors (and visitors) must enrol all of their staff as visitors so you all get your badges emailed to you. Visitors can enrol and visit for free. Exhibitors and visitor railway companies can bring as many staff along to RIN as they like.
