Crewe hosts the fourth Rail Infrastructure Networking event

On Thursday 4th May, Crewe’s Alexandra Stadium hosted the fourth Rail Infrastructure Networking (RIN) event, attracting over 100 railway infrastructure companies – many of which attended specifically to meet TXM Rail, Jobson James Rail’s PCL sponsor.

RIN is a quarterly networking opportunity organised by Jobson James Rail, a specialist insurance broker which offers bespoke solutions to companies and individuals working in rail. Every event takes place in a different UK town or city with specific ties to the UK rail network. RIN is an ideal opportunity for suppliers of railway products and services to meet one another and discuss potential business opportunities.

Crewe has a rich rail history, being home to Crewe railway works, a major railway engineering facility for manufacturing and overhauling locomotives with great historical significance for the UK rail industry. The town was developed around the railway junction of the same name, which opened in 1837.

Discussing the latest RIN event, Keven Parker, Director of Jobson James Rail, said: “Once again we have seen a fantastic turnout at this quarter’s RIN event, with several new and familiar faces attending to see developments and discuss opportunities in the industry.

“This event saw a record number of exhibitors showcasing their supplies and building on their contact bases. I’m delighted with the feedback I’ve received from attendees, and I believe we are developing an exciting reputation as the UK’s only free rail networking event which is specific to rail infrastructure. It is free from speeches and sales pitches, enabling those present to maximise their networking opportunities. I would also like to thank all those who sponsor the event.”

The next RIN event will be taking place in York on Thursday 7th September at Network Rail’s training centre. This will be an afternoon event, inviting people to turn up between 2.30pm and 5.30pm to suit their own schedule. You can find out more by visiting https://www.rinevents.co.uk/
